Anthrax sind wieder auf Tour. Die Thrash Metal Urgesteine sind in der Frankfurter Batschkapp. Um den Altersschnitt etwas zu senken kommen die neuseeländischen Newcomer von Alien Weaponry mit auf Tour.
Anthrax are back on tour. The Thrash Metal veterans are in the Frankfurt Batschkapp. To lower the average age a little the New Zealand newcomers of Alien Weaponry come along on tour.

Den Opener geben natürlich die Newcomer von Alien Weaponry. Moment; Newcomer? Die Jungs sind auch schon seit neun Jahren dabei. Bei den ganzen Casting Bands wäre nach der Zeit schon das dritte Comeback angesagt 🤣😈
Aber zurück zu guter Musik. Als Intro gibt es einen Haka vom Drummer; wer hätte es erwartet 😉
The opener will of course be given by the newcomers of Alien Weaponry. Wait; Newcomer? The guys have been there for nine years. For all the casting bands the third comeback would be announced after this time: 🤣😈 But back to good music. As intro there is a Haka from the drummer; who would have expected it 😉
Danach wird es etwas konventioneller. Das Trio bietet guten, hartem Thrash Metal. Aber mit Maori Einflüssen. Einige Texte sind Te Reo Maori, macht das verstehen auch nicht einfacher 😁 Aber wer hört bei einem Thrash Metal Konzert auf die Texte? Was rüber kommt sind Emotionen und die sind rau und ehrlich. Dementsprechend nimmt das Publikum sie begeistert auf.

Neben dem Support für Anthrax und einem Konzert von Slayer; in Stuttgart; spielen sie noch eine vier Konzerte Tour als Headliner. Da werden die Hanauer Bube von Buried in Smoke als Support dabei sein.

Nachdem das Publikum nun gut vorgewärmt und das Intro (Number of the Beast) durch ist übernehmen Anthrax die Bühne. Als Anfang kommt gleich mal „Caught in a Mosh“, damit ist die Richtung klar. Die Stimmung wurde immer besser und der Circle Pit wurde zum Dauerbrenner. Obwohl Anthrax auf der aktuellen Scheibe „For all kings“ auch ziemlich progressive Stücke zeigen bleibt das Konzert Pure Fucking Thrash Metal 🤘🤘
Now after the audience is well warmed up and the intro (Number of the Beast) is finished Anthrax take over the stage. As the beginning comes "Caught in a Mosh", so the direction is clear. The mood got better and better and the circle pit became a long runner. Although Anthrax show quite progressive tracks on the current album "For all kings" the concert remains pure fucking thrash metal 🤘🤘🤘
Leider muss auch das beste Konzert zu Ende gehen. Aber das mit zwei ordentlichen Krachern: „Antisocial“ und „Indians“.
